I like hot sauce. I really, really, really like hot sauce! I put it on every meal, I cant live without it. But I was always on my last bottle, I would use it so fast.

One late night, with the stores closed, and not a drop of hot sauce in the house, I wondered: How hard can this be to make? I worked as a chef when I was younger, and I've always been a DIY kind-a-guy.

I knew I could. So I started tinkering. I looked online. Not much, the recipes were either too hot or just plain bad. I found a Hot Sauce Making Kit, ordered it, and was immediately disappointed. The kit had only three recipes, a few stale peppers, and tiny little bottles I would never use. That's when I knew I had to make my own DIY Hot Sauce Making Kit, for people that were actually serious about making great sauce, and wanted more than what was out there.

So many great hot sauces out there have cool labels, why can't I have them at home too? After many, many sleepless nights tasting endless hot sauces, sourcing the best peppers, and designing the best labels I could, I finally had something I was proud of. I hope you enjoy the gift!
